Uniform
At Whitehouse Primary, we value the sense of belonging, equality and pride that comes with wearing a school uniform. However, we understand that the cost of living is affecting many families, and we want to support you in making affordable choices.
Flexible Uniform Options
While we are not changing our uniform expectations, we encourage families to take a mix-and-match approach when buying new items. Uniforms can be purchased from:
- Elizabeth Embroidery
- Motif8 (also offers sew-on logo badges)
- Local supermarkets
- Pre-loved uniform stock available in school
For Girls
Grey skirts, pinafores or trousers can be worn as an alternative to the tartan check.
For Nursery Pupils
A more relaxed uniform is encouraged:
- Grey joggers
- Light blue polo shirts
- Blue cardigans or jumpers
This allows children to comfortably engage in play-based learning.
